HEALTH OF BODY & MIND

By September 27, 2021No Comments

Health is not only what we eat, but also what we breathe and what we think. This is a combination of what health and wellness really means.

Let us have a look at each one of them:

1. What we eat:

It is so very important to eat well and get the right nutrients in our bodies. Make it a habit to eat good food and drink lots of water. Prepare a meal and enjoy eating that meal. When we say “eat well” I do not mean diets. Here is the good news. Diets never work because what they program to our minds is “I cannot eat that and I cannot eat this ” and that restriction does not last long.

Our brain does not understand the difference between “can and cannot”. It simply absorbs the things we say after the words cans and cannots. So the good news is instead of going for a diet, we plan a lifestyle change of putting the right food and supplementation in our bodies. So very important to take care of our digestive system.

Did you know that our digestive system is our second brain?! Happy gut, happy brain as they say it well. Did you know that drinking the juice that comes out of the aloe vera leaf stabilises your digestive system and is a supreme energiser?

So very important to use what nature gives us for our wellbeing. How about the Royal Jelly, the food of the queen bee? It is rich in vitamins and helps elevate the symptoms of stress. Look out for
the right royal jelly supplementation from elite companies.

2. What we breathe:

We are talking about the air we breathe every single second of our lives. That is something we have no control over. But what we can control is find time to go for a walk by the sea or into the countryside. We lead a sedentary life and sitting is the new smoking. Go for a walk in nature. That can invigorate your senses.

It is therapeutic for your mind, body and soul. Use pure essential oils to cleanse and purify your homes and offices. Take a few minutes to stop and be present in the moment, the now. There is never nothing going on in NOW.

3. What we think:

The only thing in life that we have control over is the thoughts that we put in our mind. What we put in our thoughts is nurturing the mind. Good thoughts kick up a healthy attitude and a healthy attitude makes us feel better. Feelings are a result of thoughts.

What is it that you feed your mind with everyday? What are the thoughts that pass through your mind each morning? Which voice in your mind are you listening to? Is it the voice which says “you can’t do that, you don’t deserve it”…….or the other voice which says to you. “you are enough and you deserve greatness” ? Are you giving your mind the right “mental vitamins”? Health is connected to both body and mind. Ask yourself this question : how important is health and wellbeing to me? What does come to your mind when you hear the word health ?
